Job Description  

• The Lab Technician is responsible for the procurement of product samples and the accurate testing of product sample to ensure premium product. 
• Must be knowledgeable of the pumping procedures and lines, pumps, valves, and their locations and functions.

• Must be knowledgeable of all steam, water, gas and air lines, valves and gauges, and their locations and the proper settings and their results pertaining to the product of all functions of the Refinery Control Station.

• Must have working understanding of the work flow and be able to project labor, materials and equipment demands, understand all the avenues of support and check with associates to secure an even and productive flow of production. 

• Recognize potentially hazardous situations, and react quickly and professionally. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work area. This position is responsible for other duties as necessary.

Required Skills

• Bending at knees to lift various weights up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull weights up to 100 pounds.
• Lift and reach overhead: weights up to 30 pounds
• Read, write, speak and understand English language, or be able to communicate with his/her supervisor all instructions and orders pertaining to the functions of this position.
• Standing, walking, climbing, sitting 100% of work time.
• Climb up stairs. Ladders, and descend stairs ladders up to 60 feet continuously throughout the work shift .
